01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Harrisburg, Oregon, The Voo is a vibrant bar & grill, live music venue, lounge, and restaurant that effortlessly combines great food, lively entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying dinner, or a spirited night out with friends, The Voo offers an experience that’s both comforting and exciting.

The menu at The Voo features an inviting array of breakfast classics and indulgent comfort fare. Start your day with generous Mini Combos like the Mini Combo 1, featuring a fluffy hot cake, a perfectly cooked egg, and your choice of savory bacon or sausage. For something sweeter, the full hot cakes come topped with melting butter and syrup that pools invitingly on the plate. Their Homemade Chicken Fried Steak Burrito is a standout—a 14-inch tortilla packed with crispy tater tots, fluffy eggs, tender chicken fried steak, melty cheese, and drizzled with The Voo’s signature country gravy that’s rich and flavorful. Omelet lovers won't be disappointed either; the Taco Omelet bursts with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and fresh toppings like crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes paired with cool sour cream, creating a vibrant melody of textures and tastes.

But The Voo is more than just a restaurant—it’s a community hub. Step inside and you’ll find a spacious, sports bar-inspired layout with ample seating, pool tables, and a lively yet relaxed vibe. The outdoor area provides a perfect spot to enjoy a drink on sunny days or catch the buzz of live music nights. Speaking of which, the live bands here add a rich layer to the experience, with performances that feel intimate and engaging, often infused with playful crowd interactions that keep the energy uplifting and genuine.

Customers often gush about the quality of food and the spirited atmosphere. James Upshaw appreciates the generous portions and inviting seating options, while Scott Lebengood highlights the outstanding breakfast burrito and a Bloody Mary that’s "very very good." Dinah D can’t stop raving about their Bloody Mary mix, bittersweetly noting it’s so popular it sometimes runs out. Emiliano Mendoza’s impression of the Philly cheese steak stands out—he praises the thick slices of roast beef and freshly fried side that elevate the dish beyond typical expectations.

Despite a few moments where service may slow during off-peak times, as noted by ryan P M, The Voo’s friendly ambiance and solid food offerings make it a place visitors happily return to. Whether you're stopping in for a casual meal, unwinding with drinks, or catching live music with friends, The Voo blends the comfort of classic American flavors with an energetic, community-centered spirit that leaves you feeling right at home.

For both locals and travelers passing through Harrisburg, The Voo promises a memorable dining and entertainment experience that hits all the right notes. From the first sip of their expertly crafted cocktails to the last crumb of a perfectly made burrito, it’s clear this gem is more than just a place to eat—it’s a gathering spot where good food, good music, and great company come together effortlessly.

Went when it was slow during the day. It looks to be a sports bar with lots of space and an outdoor area. We waited a bit for staff and got served after others who came in after but it wasn't that bad of a wait. Food was decent. I'd go back.

I was just passing through Harrisburg the other day and my friend recommended stopping by. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the live band was good and funny towards the crowd. I was a little impressed with the cheese steak. Most of the time you get shreds of beef and they try to cook the flavor into the meat on the spot. This one came with giant slices of roast beef and side of fresh fries. It was easily the best I've had in months. The experience leaves me excited to see what else they have on the menu for the next time I stop by.

Your typical bar. Has pool tables and other games. I see that there are daily specials and frequent events. Lots of options for mixed drinks, but the beer selection is lacking. The food was really good, though!

Didn't eat this time. But they honored veterans with a free burger on veterans day. Good service. Unfortunately no orange Jamison in the bar.
